How will users benefit?
Staking ZENON tokens will allow users to participating in revenue sharing. When users stake ZENON, they will receive a receipt in the form of ZENITH tokens. Based on the APY offered, stakers will begin earning yield immediately and their earnings will be auto-compounded by the protocol, increasing your staked balance over time. At any time, users can redeem ZENITH tokens in exchange for the increased amount of ZENON.
Where are the extra tokens coming from?
ZenonDAO will be using the treasury to generate yield through various protocols on Metis. There will be an intuitive UI detailing how the treasury is being deployed at any given moment. The yield generated from the treasury investments allows the protocol to mint additional ZENON token over time without harmful inflation to existing balances.

Will ZENON be inflationary?
The tokenomics of ZENON makes it a non-inflationary token because new ZENON can only be created in 2 ways: Minting and staking. Minting will be available at slight discounts to market price, thus not creating inflation. Stakers earn new ZENON that are created based on protocol revenue, so the only time new ZENON will be minted is when the treasury has funds to back the new tokens.
